The Absa Cape Epic is officially heading to our valley, and the excitement across Wolseley and the entire Witzenberg region is sky-high! The official 2027 route was unveiled at an elegant gala dinner at the Southern Sun Cape Sun in Cape Town, and we couldn't be prouder to share that 5 out of the 7 stages of the world's premier mountain bike stage race will take place right here in our backyard. Wolseley Tourism stood proud alongside Witzenberg Municipality, Ceres Tourism Bureau, and Tulbagh Wine and Tourism to celebrate this momentous occasion. Western Cape MEC for Cultural Affairs and Sport, Ricardo Mackenzie, also addressed guests, highlighting the immense value and energy this global event brings to the Western Cape.
